I don't get it?

This game is inspired by the Turing Machine board game. There goal is to find the secret number. You are given a set of constraints (top of the page) that you can check against a guessed number. The constraints will return a positive answer () if the property also holds for the secret. The constraints will return a negative answer () otherwise. Once you're sure what the result is, you can make a final guess and you either win or loose. The fewer guesses you need to make to guess the number the better.

What are the controls?

Enter a guess in the box at the bottom. Press the button to check a specific constraint against that guess. Or press the big red button to make your final guess. You can also end a round early and start guessing a new number with the slightly less red button.

Can I play online with friends?

If your URL (top of the browser) has a seed= part in it, then just share that URL to friends and you guess the same secrets with the same constraints. You can just synchronize over voice call. I don't plan to setup a server backend for synchronizing state. The game itself doesn't really require any online connection.

Can I play offline?

The game doesn't communicate with the server after loading. You can just download the page and play offline.

Got any tips?

Two (unstated) properties that hold for all quizzes are:

There is only one solution: If a number matches all constraints it will always be the secret. All other numbers do not match (at least) one of the constraints.

Every constraint is necessary: If any of the constraints would be removed, there will no longer be a unique solution in each quiz. Think about why some constraints are necessary to make the solution unique.
